New ACC/AHA Cholesterol Guideline Allows For More Personalized Care; New Treatment Options

New guidelines from the AHA and ACC were released on November 10, 2018, at AHA 2018 in Chicago. The new guidelines allow for more personalized care and include more extensive treatment options. In addition, the updated guidelines include more risk factors than the traditional: smoking, high blood pressure and high blood sugar.
