Medical Nutrition Therapy for Children with Special Health Care Needs Self-Study Course

If you care for children with special health care or nutritional needs, this is the course for you!

This course requires reading of a pocket guide on pediatric nutrition for children with a variety of special health care needs (CSHCN). Published in 2021, the evidence-based book has the most recent information available on nutrition care for CSHCN. Conditions covered include but are not limited to autism spectrum disorder, cystic fibrosis, Down syndrome, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, congenital heart disease, and cerebral palsy. The course covers nutrition assessment, feeding and eating, community services and programs, and transition of care for CSHCN.
