Live Webinar: Thursday December 5, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 PM ET

Join Melanie Betz, MS, RD, CSR, LDN, FAND and learn about nutrition updates and the role of the plant-based diet in management of chronic kidney disease with this interactive webinar!

In 2020, the KDOQI recommendations for the nutritional management in CKD were updated with some significant and exciting changes. This webinar will provide an update on the changes dietitians need to know, and discuss how many plant foods that were traditionally taboo for CKD – such as whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds (and even bananas and tomatoes!) – should actually be encouraged for most people with CKD.
