Is Outsourcing Nutrition Services Right for Your Organization?
Outsourcing allows you to pay for specific responsibilities to be managed by the contract company rather than paying fulltime employees to do the work. If you have hired companies to manage payroll, accounting or legal work, you are already outsourcing. The more specialized the work, the more outsourcing becomes a practical choice.
Outsourcing nutrition services is almost always less expensive than hiring an in house employee when costs include recruitment, interviewing, orientation, training, continuing education, salary, workers’ compensation, paid time off, workspace, insurance costs, payroll taxes, retirement plans and support. Contracting outside nutrition services is clearly more cost effective.
