Learn the approaches for preventing hypertension through weight management/weight loss with this case based self-study course!

This continuing professional education (CPE) self-study course includes required reading of a journal article which presents an overview of the epidemiology of obesity hypertension and the increased risk to cardiovascular health. It also reviews the evidence for preventing new onset of or improved or improving management of existing hypertension through application of weight loss strategies via diet therapy, physical activity, pharmacotherapy, and bariatric surgery.

The CPE course requires the learner to apply the information in the article to a case-study based exam to assess knowledge and understanding of content and  apply the information as if implementing it in practice.
