Ground Beef Recall 
After a number of E. coli infections were reported in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Illinois, Valley Meats LLC in Illinois is recalling over 95,000 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli. (June 09)

Abbott Nutrition Announces Voluntary Recall of Nutrition Bars
Abbott Nutrition announced its initiation of a precautionary, voluntary recall of ZonePerfect® Chocolate Caramel Cluster bars, Champions Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars by EAS, and Glucerna Chocolate Peanut bars, in connection with the expanded recall of peanut ingredients manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA). No other Glucerna or EAS products are affected. (April 09)
