Becky Dorner, RD, LD
Becky is Founder/President, Becky Dorner & Associates, Inc., a dietetic education and information firm, and Nutrition Consulting Services, Inc. a dietetics consulting firm, providing services to over 100 health care facilities in Ohio since 1983.
Becky's mission to improve care for older adults has inspired her to present almost 450 programs for national, international and state professional meetings in 48 states, and 5 countries; and to publish more than 155 practical articles in professional journals, magazines and newsletters.
Becky Dorner & Associates publishes more than 60 nationally recognized health care books, manuals, and CEU programs related to care of older adults. The free email magazine keeps more than 20,000 health care professionals up to date on the latest news in nutrition care for older adults.
Becky has held more than 15 board positions in local, state and national professional associations including chair of the Consultant Dietitians in Health Care Facilities (ADA practice group with 5500 members), the ADA House of Delegates and the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) executive board. Becky was the first Executive Officer of the national Consultant Dietitian Network, organized in 2003. She is currently serving on the NPUAP board, the ADA Research Committee, and the AODA Leadership Team. Honors include: ADA Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year, Outstanding Nutrition Entrepreneur (ADA/NE), CD-HCF Distinguished Member Award, and the ADA Award of Excellence in Business and Consultation.
